1. COMING HOME: TESHUVAH
Wednesday, September 9 at 7:30 PM eastern time:
As the High Holy Days approach, we are beckoned by the call to teshuvah, repentance or return. Teshuvah can also be seen as a homecoming. Our discussion will focus on practices for mending frayed or broken relationships and ways to engage in the deep spiritual recalibration for strengthening our relationships with God and self.

2. RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP
Tuesday, October 13 at 7:30 PM eastern time:
In these challenging times, we are faced with leaders that exhibit a wide range of leadership styles. Some resonate with us while others are clearly not to our preference. While leadership styles vary greatly, certain principles should be followed by all leaders. Key among these is Responsibility (achrayut). An effective leader should both care for others and have an understanding of the impact of his/her actions. Through Jewish text study we will explore several aspects of Responsible leadership.

3. FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION – SHARING OUR STORIES
Wednesday, December 9 at 7:30 PM eastern time:
One of the building blocks of strong family connections is our shared stories, passed down through the generations. Join us to explore effective ways to tell family stories, and to hear some interesting intergenerational tales and teachings.

4. TU B’SHVAT SEDER
January
The custom of celebrating Tu B’Shvat with a seder began more than three hundred years ago in Tzfat. The first text that was used for a Tu B’Shvat seder was P’ri Etz Hadar, part of a bigger book of kabbalistic customs. We will discover texts from that book, and celebrate with food and music. We will also explore ways to respect and heal the environment on the original Earth Day, Tu B’Shvat.

5. PURIM: THE HOLIDAY IN HIDING
February
Why is Purim a holiday in hiding? Find out, and explore the many aspects of this holiday that are especially relevant to the time we live in today. Join us for a unique celebration of Purim!

6. LIGHTING THE FIRES OF LAG B’OMER
April
Join us virtually for a picnic and bonfire celebrating Lag B’Omer! Our tradition teaches us that Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai revealed the Zohar, the Book of Light filled with mystical secrets of kabbalah, on Lag B’Omer. We will explore some of these mystical teachings.
