A Gift of Hope in the Midst of Winter’s Darkness

The holiday of Tu B’Shvat is truly a gift of hope.  Like a bud forcing its way up through the frozen earth of winter, Tu B’Shvat springs up each year, a gift of hope in the midst of winter‘s darkness.

Just when I’m at my lowest place in the deepest part of winter, Tu B’Shvat comes as a reminder to me to hope for increasing light each day, for increasing warmth and sunshine, for gentler breezes…  it is a reminder of the approaching Spring.

With this spirit of hope in mind and close to my heart, I hope you will join us this evening, January 17, for our unique Tu B’Shvat Seder at 7:30 PM Eastern time. We will enjoy a mystical experience and learn about Tu B’Shvat in all Four Worlds. Click here to register.

At this auspicious time in the year, Chai Mitzvah is happy to share that we are launching our Grow Your Judaism fundraiser. Chai Mitzvah makes all of its services and materials available for a little or no cost. We hope you’ll join us for our exciting fundraiser. We are accepting donations and are also auctioning off interesting goods and services. If you have something you’d like to donate, we can showcase you on our auction webpage – just leave a reply below.
