A Different Journey, But Not a New One

Every April I drive cross country to visit my middle daughter and her family. Having completed that journey once again, I look at my grandsons, ages 4 and 5, and think about how tradition tells us that all Jewish people stand at Sinai every Shavuot – even the ones that aren’t born yet.

Every year we travel from a narrow place* to freedom.

Every year we take a journey, beginning at Passover, through the Omer, culminating at Shavuot. We travel from a narrow place* to freedom. We invite you to begin this journey with us on Wednesday, April 17 at our community event, Standing at Sinai: Past and Present.

What does it mean to each of us in current times to stand at Sinai and be part of the Jewish people? In what way will we, both as a people and as individuals stand at Sinai today?

Please join us for a meaningful experience on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:30 pm ET. Register here, and join us at Sinai.
