Why Support Scholar’s Circle

by Audrey Lichter

In the fall of 2022 a scholar from the University of Wisconsin reached out to us, having read Scott’s book Conspiracy U: A Case Study. He submitted a rather scholarly article to us about how Israel’s dealing with the Palestinian issue  compares to boarder disputes around the world. Dr. Shale Horowitz was delighted to work with us to bring his scholarly research to a general audience. This birthed the Scholar’s Circle.

Since then we have hosted over 25 lectures by Dr, Horowitz and many others. Each Scholar has tailored their lecture to a general audience. They appreciate the opportunity to bring their research to our community of lay leaders, Rabbis and educators.

Scott Shay, our founder and Board Chair,  has insisted that we offer an honorarium to each of these scholars for participating in the Scholar’s Circle. He understands the financial sacrifice most  academics make and the importance of their work.

We need to raise $40,000 to keep our Scholar’s Circle program available to you at no charge.

We need to raise $40,000 to keep our Scholar’s Circle program available to you at no charge. Your support will allow us to continue to bring in additional scholars, to support and disseminate their work to all of us who are profoundly interested in information based on serious scholarship.

Please consider an end of year donation.

Thank you in advance for your support and interest in Scholars Circle.
