Chai Mitzvah offers a stipend to hire a Community Coordinator who works within your community to create, maintain and strengthen Chai Mitzvah groups.
Chai Mitzvah’s mission is to collaborate with existing community organizations to facilitate greater Jewish engagement. In order to accomplish this goal, Chai Mitzvah seeks to collaborate with community umbrella organizations, such as Federations, JCC’s and Rabbinical Councils.
The Community Coordinator showcases existing opportunities to fulfill the Jewish bucket list of learning, social action and ritual/spiritual practice. Chai Mitzvah works to increase the demand for the supply of Jewish engagement opportunities that exist within most communities.
