Dialogue Diplomacy: Guidelines for Conversations on the War and the Middle East

In a war, both parties are also involved in the war for the hearts and minds of the world. In this talk, I will discuss what points about the conflict will persuade people of good will who want a peaceful Middle East for both Israelis and Palestinians and what points will antagonize them based on my experience with the Tel Aviv Institute in the fight against anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism.

Dr. Olga Kirschbaum-Shirazki is a historian, editor, co-founder of Tel Aviv Review of Books, and Visiting Fellow at the Tel Aviv Institute. She received her PhD in Modern European history from New York University focusing on inter-group and inter-faith relations as well as nationalism, colonialism, and international politics in the modern period.
