I recently previewed the film Tragic Awakening by the well known Canadian-Israeli film writer and producer, Rabbi Raphael Shore. This powerful documentary explores the roots of antisemitism through the insights of Muslim Zionist Rawan Osman, and delves into the historical and cultural genesis of Jew-hatred, revealing its impact not only on the Jewish people but on the entire world.
Rabbi Shore wrote a book on the subject as well. It’s called Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Jew? Learning to Love the Lessons of Jew-Hatred.
In it, he shares this important insight:
Both the book and the film are the inspiration for a new joint project of Chai Mitzvah and Aseret, developed in cooperation with Rabbi Shore: 10XSTRONGER.
Right now, the Jewish world is filled with confusion and fear due to Oct 7 and the eruption of worldwide antisemitism. We invite you to join the 10XSTRONGER movement and respond to being put down by standing up!
There will be many ways to join the movement coming soon – in September, when the film is released – stay tuned for more information!
