Spread the Light

by Nina Fondiller Woldin

I’m sitting at my computer dressed in the working-remotely-Zoom-uniform: business casual shirt and flannel pajama pants.  Outside it’s dreary and cold, reminding me that the winter solstice is only 5 days away.

Everywhere are reminders that during times of darkness, we look for light. Businesses and homes are lit for the holiday season. We will light the Chanukiah in less than 2 weeks – but there is another, deeper way to bring light to this season.

At Chai Mitzvah we believe that the light can be found in community connection, and we invite you to join us!

At Chai Mitzvah we believe that the light can be found in community connection, and we invite you to join us! Here are some of the ways you can help spread the light without bundling up in a parka and boots:

  1. Scholars Circle: Join us to hear from leading academicians as they delve into timely topics affecting the Jewish community.
  2. Virtual groups: We currently offer 5 different groups, and all are welcome – Rosh Chodesh, Mussar, #10XSTRONGER, Their Memory for a Blessing, and Because We Were Slaves.

We are looking forward to you joining us and spreading light this season!
