WILL BE HELD JULY 11, BECAUSE THE FIRST MONDAY IS JULY 4

When we take up too much “air-space” in a conversation without considering others, or when we spread our belongings over the shared kitchen table or the seat next to us on the bus, we are behaving negligently in the realm of humility practice. Balanced humility is about taking up the right amount of space, neither too much nor too little.

With the environmental concerns looming in the world today, it is imperative to consider how we, as human beings, may be taking up more than our share of environmental resources, and how curbing our carbon footprint is not only good Mussar practice, but also sound global citizenship.

We will explore the middah of humility, applying it both to our relationships with others and our relationship with the environment.
